Poetry by …….

Our theme focus this month is on a poetry form so, it made sense to feature poems of this style. We bring you three examples of the Villenelle by three poets. Two of the poets I consider experts of this poetic form that reads as a song, Christi Moon with Not Ours and Julie Watkins’ Petticoat. The third poem is one of mine, The Emerald Isle. I learned from both of them how to write a Villenelle at FEPC. We challenge all of you to write your own Villenelle and send it to our creative editor. We will choose three of them for a special feature down the road.  I dare ya!  :)
