Did you Know ~ Unusual Pets: Coenobita Clypeatus
I sense the earth moving yet it’s a subtle sensation. I’ve detected a clattering, too. It sounds as if a small army is mobilizing in the distance. I refocus my senses. There! Below me! It’s as if I’ve crested a mountain where the valley below has opened to reveal the organized turmoil of an army [...]

Of course, religion was involved in the division of humans and nature too. A divide that has happened at different times with [...]

Did You Know~Pet or Prisoner
May 2, 2012 By my rays of light Leave a Comment
Did You Know~Pet or Prisoner I think most of us have seen the tigers in the circus. They are simply beautiful. In the United States there is a growing problem with its citizens taking on the responsibility of raising an exotic animal, as a pet. While this may seem like an exciting and [...]

Christ
I was complaining about my father, who just bought a house
In Newfoundland, at a Starbucks, sipping on a low-fat Chai Latte,
And warming my hands on the mug, when Christ returned to Earth.
I didn’t recognize him with short hair,
But the marks on his forehead and hands
Were a dead giveaway. I nodded to him as
He walked through the door, and he nodded back.
His face was gaunt, weather-beaten, as he was,
No doubt, unfamiliar with the Canadian winter,
and there was a hint of anger in his eyes, something
lingering, from the old days. He didn’t part the line,
but waited patiently behind a fat woman hand-in-hand
with her scrawny boyfriend. If I didn’t know better, I’d say

I can tell that the little girl is very happy. How can I tell that she is happy??? By the way her eyes light up! The little girl also looks very relieved, like something has caused her much stress and she was depressed! But in this picture she looks like she is going to be okay now and now she doesn’t have anymore worries! I can also see confidence, like she is the one to take charge in her family and have confidence. She looks very joyful! It looks like she is having fun, also excited. But it also looks like she has been through some tough times and is now just getting over them.

I feel happiness in my heart and in my soul.
I’m so happy that someone came and fixed my broken heart.
Someone really must love me.
At least someone cares for me.
